NDA Lifted for Mortal Online

Have you been itching for more Mortal Online information? The flood gates are about to open as the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for the game has now been lifted and players are free to talk about their experience with the game. Henrik Nystrom made the announcement on the Mortal Online forums and you can read his full statement here.

The last months have been a real rollercoaster ride here at Star Vault, albeit a very positive one. Most of the core features planned for release have been introduced and tested in a controlled manner, and we've been extremely eager to see the reception each time. We are now at a point where we feel that although there is still a lot of work to do(Mortal Gold), it's time to increase our efforts of marketing the game, and part of this process is the lifting of the NDA.

Action-based MMORPG shooters based on the Unreal Engine have been popular recently, with games like Huxley and Crimecraft finally finishing production. Mortal Online seems much more MMORPG than most of the other first-person based, real-time action MMORPGs though.

Here is a couple of the key facts about the game: the entire game is played in first person. PVP is possible through out the entire game world -- you can also steal other player's stuff. The game has no experience levels; it's great to see a developer try out such a different idea-- so this means that all content is accessible from the get-go, and there is no grinding(Mortal Online Gold). There are no classes either -- instead, your character is determined by some primary attributes, a skillset, and guild affiliations.
