According to the famous South Korean game company Webzen's 2010 financial statement, the company achieved sales of 37.2 billion won last year, with an operating profit of 6.6 billion won and a net profit of 6.2 billion won.

In contrast with 2009, Webzen witnessed an increase of about 34% in sales last year, and the operating profit of 6.6 billion won also successfully reversed its deficit-making situation(mu online zen).

Webzen's increase in sales last year was mainly attributed to its major games' stable incomes, like MU Online and R2, as well as C9's continuous growth. Webzen will keep following the current favorable trend this year, and will enjoy a bright prospect thanks to its nonstop expansion of the overseas markets.

Webzen officially operated the new version of SUN (mu gold) - Prelude to A New Era (translated) from Feb. 24, with a large-scale update carried out as well. Moreover, highly-anticipated MU Online 2 is also set to be open this year, and the global business and gained responses of Ymir Entertainment, which was taken over early this year, also shows that Webzen has formally started its new life.
